Curriculum Vitae

Claudio Cicconetti graduated in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in October 2003, where he also received his PhD in 2007 and worked as a post&minusdoc for three years. In this period he has been involved in the EuQoS (FP6&minusIST IP) and Winner+ (Celtic), and he participated to two national projects funded by the Italian MIUR, i.e. QuaSAR (2004&minus2006) and NADIR (2006&minus2008). In 2006 he has been a visiting scholar in the Georgia Institute of Technology of Atlanta under the supervision of Prof. I. F. Akyildiz. Since 2009 he has been working as a senior consultant in the field of advanced telecommunications in Intecs S.p.a. (Italy). Among the other activities, he was involved in the SANDRA (FP7&minusAAT IP) and Ipermob (local Italian project). He is a member of the IEEE and served as a member of the organization committee of several conferences (Valuetools'06 &minus webmaster, Valuetools'09 – workshop co&minuschair, Simutools'09 &minus publicity co&minuschair, European Wireless'10 &minus students papers co&minuschair, WiOpt'10 &minus publicity co&minuschair), and he co&minuschaired two ICST&minussponsored workshops, i.e. NSTools in 2007 and QoSim in 2009.
