Demos

EW2010 will host technical demonstrations, offering partecipants a valuable opportunity to showcase practical applications, technology prototypes and solutions in an effective, 'live' manner.

The demonstrations will not be limited to the papers submitted, but any contributions in the areas of interest of the conference are solicited, both from the academic world and the industry.

Each demo proposal submission should consist of a short paper (max 2 pages, font size 10pts minimum) describing:

the subject and the goal of the demonstration;
a short storyboard describing what is going to be shown to attendants (optionally this can be provided as presentation slides or a small video);
a list of the equipment involved in the demo;
the related technical requirements, e.g. the space needed, any special connections, power specifications and so on.

Papers must be contributed in PDF or Microsoft Office document format to bisti@cng1.iet.unipi.it within the submission deadline specified below; please include "EW2010 Demo" in the subject of the e-mail. Maximum overall size allowed for attachments is 5 MiB; popular compression formats such as RAR, ZIP, 7Z and tarballs are accepted. For larger contributions please ask for instructions first.

Demonstrators will be responsible for carrying all the necessary equipment, including displays, networking devices, etc; power connections and reserved room for each demo will be available at the conference venue.

All submissions will be reviewed prior to acceptance; evaluation criteria include technical quality, innovation level, relevance to the conference scope and availability of resources.
